War of the Realms | Episode 2 | Issue #2

Episode 2

Welcome back Comic lovers, today is the day you are going to read Episode 2 of the War of the Realms based on issue #2.

War of the Realms Episode 2 based on Issue #2 covers the New York Battle and introduces Thor (Jane Foster) into the story. An uncontrollable spell of Doctor Strange results in everything to be destroyed.

Hmmm.. Okay. Now that you have done it, Let's get started. 

Scene 1

Location: Doctor Strange's Sanctum Sanctorum, Greenwich Village

We see a huge crowd of people who are entering the Sanctum Sanctorum to be safe from the attack in New York. Then we hear Bats, The Ghost Dog of Doctor Strange telling people not to worry about the space in the Sanctorum as the Sanctorum is able to hold couple millions of full grown humans.

Then we see Jane Foster (Lady Thor). Bats asks her to come inside but she refuse by saying that there are some people left behind.

Jane wasn't suffering from Cancer, but she was worried about something else.

Scene 2

Location: A Street of New York City

We see Punisher killing some Dark Elves and Wolverine joins him. Both of them take down the Dark Elves together.

The situation of the New York City was miserable as the gutters of 54th Street was overflowing with bloods of Dark Elves, Hell's Kitchen got frozen by the Frost Giants and everything was getting destroyed.

But Still there was no sign of Thunder.

Scene 3

Location: Battle area, New York

We have a look at Captain America who is climbing up stairs of a building and asking citizens to go to the Evacuation point.

From the 21st floor he climbs off the window and knock down a Frost Giant.

The place was full of Frost Giants, Monsters, Trolls and all other Villainy creatures of all the realms.

Iron Man asks Black Panther to Avengers Mountain Teleporter to teleport the people out of the battle area but Black Panther reveals that the network had crashed and he could't access the Teleporter.

Then Iron Man asks Doctor Strange if he could use his Magic to start a portal to teleport the people.

Doctor Strange says that there was a spell to do so but it comes at a heavy price. He also reveals that he was facing some kind of opposing force which was stopping him from using that spell.

Scene 4

Location: Battle Area, New York

We see Malekith on the edge of a terrace of a building and three War Witches behind him. Malekith was getting happy by looking at the destruction happening by him.

One of Three War Witches reveal that Doctor Strange was attempting Counter Spells against their Magic.

Malekith ignores by saying one Doctor Strange against 3 witches can't do anything. I think it was true because Doctor Strange was unable to teleport those civilians. 

We then have a quick look at Lady Freyja fighting Queen of Angels and Spiderman fighting Sindr, the Queen of Muspelheim.

She-Hulk fighting Ulik, the King of Trolls, Ghost Rider fighting Enchantress

Suddenly, a big Old Viking Ship lands the shore of the city. Jane Foster comes out of the Ship with a sword in her hand and asks Lady Freyja that they should Malekith and kill him to end the War.

All of a Sudden, a bright light in sky shines and everyone hears the War Horn of Asgard

Everyone looks up and see Odin with all Valkyries.

Odin says that he wasn't dead as some elf blades cannot kill the almighty Odin. He lands the ground by piercing the heart of a Frost Giant.

Jane Foster asks Brunnhilde to take her to Malekith and jumps on the back of Aragorn, the winged horse of Valkyrie. 

Odin meets his wife Freyja. Freyja tells Odin that he shouldn't have come to Midgard as he was badly injured. She reveals that Loki was dead.

Suddenly Laufey comes from behind and smashes Odin against a wall. Odin was already hurt and now was even more.

We again see Jane Foster and Valkyrie, Jane reveals that she was Lady Thor and she killed Mangog with Mjolnir.

But Valkyrie kicks off Jane from Aragorn and tell her to stay alive, safe and Enjoy rest of her life.

Jane fall off the horse and lands on the same terrace the Witches were practicing their spell to counter Doctor Strange.

Jane uses her sword and knock down the witches. 

Since the magical interference caused by the Witches stopped, Doctor Strange managed to start his Evacuation Spell.

The spell was too strong that it started to teleport Superheroes as well in addition to the injured and Civilians.

All Superheroes including Doctor Strange himself was teleported to Avengers Mountain by the Spell.

Jane asks them to go back to the war and end it but some superheroes knew that the enemies were outnumbered and they didn't stand a chance against the them.

Freyja reveals that before dying, Loki said that Thor is held captive in Jotunheim and She will be going to bring him back as he was the only hope to defeat Malekith.
Odin interrupt by saying, Svartalfheim. He says that they should go to Svartalfheim and take down the Black Bifrost which was used by Malekith to teleport his armies.

Sif asks Black Panther to use his technology to teleport them back to the War.
T'Challa responds by saying that the Teleporter was offline.

Freyja asks to take Odin to bed as needed his Odin Sleep to recover but deep inside she knew that Odin might never recover.
She also promises Odin that she will bring back Thor or die trying.

Sif aks Freyja that if she knew what she was going to do because without the help Heimdal, she can't travel to other realms.

Freyja then announce Jane Foster as the All Mother Of Asgard. 

But Jane's attention was toward the TV showing that Valkyrie's Horse had been slaughtered.
Jane started crying and she says that they should've gone back to war.

Scene 5

Location: Battle Area, New York

The streets of New York were empty, the place where children played are now burning, the buildings are ruined, everything empty.

Still we hear the moans of the some dying and injured.

We see Valkyrie fighting elves and ask Malekith to show himself and suddenly she feels a sword pierced into her stomach. 

It is revealed that it was none other than the coward Malekith, who didn't have the courage to fight the Valkyrie so he attacked from the back.

Conclusion

I am feeling very bad for Valkyrie who lost her life fighting for Midgard, but I really feel annoyed by Malekith who is such a coward. 

Let me ask you a question, Do you feel abandoned?  I do.

Why no God is listening? Why are they letting everything to be destroyed? Comment down below to show your anger and point out some valid questions and reasons.

Well, that's all for the Episode 2, in the next Episode we might see the journey of Freyja to rescue Thor.
